Oversees and guides the store to ensure a unique beyond customer experience. Manages the relationship between consumers and sales team. For the customer, you are the visible face of the brand.
Oversees the business at 360 degrees. Ensures a unique customer experience and that business goals are achieved by effective sales strategies and CRM activities. Follows visual guidelines to ensure immaculate product display and store image. Ensures store operational procedures run smoothly and efficiently combined with e-commerce activities. Represents the brand and our company values at all times.


MISSION

  • Attract, develop, retain, and engage both clients and team members
  • Demonstrate sales leadership for team members by playing an active role on the shop floor and building relationships with clients
  • Analyze store results, verify daily, weekly, monthly activities and set up yearly assessments: KPIs
  • Implement action plans to achieve general targets and P&L
  • Define targeted quantitative and qualitative goals and ensure they are achieved
  • Communicate high quality relevant feedback and analysis to HQ and team members
  • Awareness and sensitivity to your business environment, with up to date knowledge on market trends and competitors
  • Foster and maintain a positive work environment through open communication in order to motivate and engage the team
  • Create development plans for sales staff and management in order to drive performance
  • Build a network who have an impact on local and international luxury business in order to promote customer loyalty, especially with top clients
  • Ensure the store atmosphere upholds brand image
  • Maintain team behaviours and store appearance that are consistent with the standard of ST.Ape service, image and values
  • Ensure all delicate situations regarding customer complaints and the overall sales process are dealt with accordingly
  • Ensure that all the processes are in compliance with legal, safety and internal requirements
  • Challenge current processes to ensure efficiency and effectiveness
  • Supervise warehouse stock and verify that it is in line with the store's sales potential, by liaising with Merchandising Retail Director accordingly
  • Manage inventory & e-commerce activities.
  • Optimize stockroom management in order to make processes as efficient as possible in collaboration with the Back Office operations

YOUR TALENT

  • 3 - 5 successful years of experience in a managerial role
  • Significant experience in the sale of luxury goods or retail
  • Ability to analyse selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results.
  • Adaptable, transparent, dynamic and curios in your approach
  • High sensitivity to customer experience, engagement and loyalty
  • Exceptional persuasiveness and interpersonal skills
  • Attention to detail and highly organised
  • Willingness to be involved in an innovative projects
  • Experience with Apple Iwork and/or Microsoft Works.

As the Assistant Store Manager for our Amsterdam flagship store at the Cornelis Schuytstraat, you will be responsible for supporting all activities to achieve retail business objectives through exemplary clientelling, operations, loss prevention compliance, e-commerce merchandising, shipments and unsurpassed service culture. Closely partnering with the Store Manager, the Assistant Manager will be an inspiring leader who will have a strong desire to build relationships with both internal and external clients. The Assistant Store Manager will represent the brand as S ambassador by promoting the values and ambitions of the business. Our Amsterdam store is at high-end luxurious shopping spree, no day is the same and footfall is constant. With that in mind, experience in a luxury fast paced environment is helpful as customer service must remain at a high level.

YOUR MISSION

  • Attract, develop, retain, and engage both clients and team members
  • Demonstrate sales leadership by playing an active role on the sales floor through client engagement, ensuring the highest level of customer service is provide.
  • Supervise sales to ensure client satisfaction and engagement.
  • Proactively seeking out opportunities that benefit the store performance as a whole, pioneering and trialing initiatives in conjunction with the Brand.
  • Support with the administration and reporting.
  • Support with the E-commerce sales & shipments.
  • Develop and implement business action plans in collaboration with the Store Manager to enhance sales for each product category and client tiers.
  • Promote a positive and professional team environment that fosters trust, integrity and superior performance standards, leading by example.
  • Partner with management to promote brand awareness, establish market/store presence, and capture competitive market share through community outreach and company sponsored events.
  • Collaborate with the Store Manager for full organisation of stock, ensuring stock management guidelines are being achieved.
  • Support the team on executing amazing customer service and after sales experience, to increase and retain customer loyalty.
  • Capture meaningful client data for the purpose of building relationships to personalise prospect client development opportunities.
  • Monitor the monthly Client Management database and reporting.
  • Ensuring the most elevated client experience is being offered and carrying out client appointments.
  • Fully support and align with all key business initiatives and new product launches.
  • Lead and support Company driven local events and product launches, ensuring client attendance and sales results are met.

YOUR TALENT

  • 2 - 3 successful years of experience in a sales supportive role
  • Sales and client management experience in luxury retail.
  • Ability to analyse selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the business.
  • Previous team management experience.
  • Proven ability to drive positive customer experiences that build loyalty and deliver measurable results.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Apple Iwork and/or Microsoft Works.
